Normal state diamagnetism of charged bosons in cuprate superconductors

چکیده

Normal state orbital diamagnetism of charged bosons quantitatively accounts for recent highresolution magnetometery results near and above the resistive critical temperature Tc of superconducting cuprates. Our parameter-free descriptions of normal state diamagnetism, Tc, upper critical fields and specific heat anomalies unambiguously support the 3D Bose-Einstein condensation of preformed real-space pairs with zero off-diagonal order parameter above Tc at variance with phase fluctuation scenarios of cuprates. Normal-state diamagnetism of charged bosons in cuprate superconductors.

Normal-state orbital diamagnetism of charged bosons quantitatively accounts for recent high-resolution magnetometery results near and above the resistive critical temperature T(c) of superconducting cuprates. The parameter-free descriptions of normal-state diamagnetism, T(c), upper critical fields, and specific heat anomalies support the 3D Bose-Einstein condensation of preformed real-space pai...

First observation for a cuprate superconductor of fluctuation-induced diamagnetism well inside the finite-magnetic-field regime

For the first time for a cuprate superconductor, measurements performed above T(c) in high quality grain aligned La1.9Sr0.1CuO4 samples have allowed the observation of the thermal fluctuation induced diamagnetism well inside the finite-magnetic-field fluctuation regime. These results may be explained in terms of the Gaussian Ginzburg-Landau approach for layered superconductors, but only if the ...

Dynamical Stripe Correlations in Cuprate Superconductors

Based on the recent observation of the stripe instability in Cuprate superconductors~ we present the hypothesis that the normal state finds its origin in a particular kind of stripe-quantum fluid. The charged domain walls are interpreted as strings on a lattice and the quantum fluctuation of an individual string is driven by a proliferation of kinks. The kink dynamics gives rise to meandering f...

Electronic structure of kinetic energy driven cuprate superconductors

In this paper, we review the low energy electronic structure of the kinetic energy driven d-wave cuprate superconductors. We give a general description of the chargespin separation fermion-spin theory, where the constrained electron is decoupled as the gauge invariant dressed holon and spin. In particular, we show that under the decoupling scheme, the charge-spin separation fermion-spin represe...

Spectroscopic Studies of Quasiparticle Low-Energy Excitations in Cuprate and Iron-Based High-Temperature Superconductors

Recent development in the physics of high-temperature superconductivity is reviewed, with special emphasis on the studies of the low-energy excitations of cuprate and iron-based superconductors. For cuprate superconductors, a phenomenology based on coexisting competing orders with superconductivity in the ground state of these doped Mott insulators is shown to provide a consistent account for a...
